Terms of Tooting

Welcome to Tooting Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhiretooting.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services you agree to these Terms.

1. Tooting Tenancy

All vehicle rentals through Tooting are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement issued at booking confirmation or when the vehicle is collected. The agreement sets out terms, conditions, insurance information, fees, and your responsibilities for that rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will apply.

2. Tooting Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Tooting, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for Tooting bookings (age limits may differ by vehicle type, and additional charges may apply for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, kept for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photo identification and proof of address plus a payment method at the time of vehicle collection.

3. Reservation and Payment

  • Bookings may be made via our website, by telephone, or in person at our Tooting office. A booking deposit might be requested to confirm your reservation. Remaining balance and the security deposit are usually payable when the vehicle is collected. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return — Tooting

  • When collecting a vehicle from Tooting you must inspect it thoroughly and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Tooting representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged to the hirer in accordance with our damage charges.

5. Insurance and Liability - Tooting

7. Tooting Prohibitions

You must not use a vehicle rented from Tooting for:

  • Use of a Tooting vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity. Competing in races, rally events, off-road driving, or other hazardous activities. Carrying hazardous or dangerous materials. Subletting the vehicle to third parties or permitting unauthorised drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any use for purposes the vehicle is not designed for...

Violating these restrictions in Tooting may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability for Tooting

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Tooting Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the services to which the claim relates.

9. Governing Law for Tooting

These Terms are governed by English and Welsh law for Tooting. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Tooting Terms
